Okara: Bandits make off with millions in 4 strikes
OKARA: The dacoits too away cash, gold ornaments, cellphones and electronic goods worth millions of rupees in various strikes in different areas here the other night. As per details, the first robbery took place near 34/2R when a resident of Marula Sharif namely Arif Ali along with his friend Ali Yasin was passing through Okara on his a bike No 2423–OKK. Meanwhile, three armed dacoits intercepted them and snatched the motorcycle, cellphones and Rs65,000 from them.
In another incident took place when one Mohammad Saleem son of Allah Bakhsh, a resident of Allama Iqbal Colony Mohammad Saleem, son of Allah Bakhsh along with his friend was on the way to Sahiwal in carry-van.
Meanwhile, four armed dacoits intercepted them near Fatehpur and robbed of cash and cellphones.
Similarly, the third incident occurred near 38/GD when Mohammad Irfan, a resident of Gogera Saddr, Adnan, Asif and Akeel were looted by 14 armed bandits.
The culprits deprived them of Rs50,000, two cellphones and gold ornaments.
Meanwhile, an incident of robbery took place in Mardani area where two peter engines worth Rs85,000 of Amanat Ali were stolen.
In yet another incident, a theft incident occurred at the house of Zahid Idrees in village 8/1R. As per detail, unknown thieves stole away gold ornaments worth Rs130,000 and cellphones.
The police have registered separate cases.
