Peshawar: Dispute claims life
PESHAWAR: A dispute over water distribution claimed life of a youth at Masho Khel village in suburbs of Peshawar on Monday. An official of the Badhber police said two families had developed differences over the distribution of water from a local tube-well and neither side was ready to budge. The people, he said had exchanged hot words on Sunday and had warned each other. On Monday morning, he said a youth Humayun Khan, son of Muhib Khan of Mashokhel, was shot dead by someone while he was on way to his agricultural fields. A complainant, Shah Nazar, relative of the deceased, nominated three people, including Niaz Ahmed, Muazam and Azam for being involved in the murder of Humayun. The police registered case against the accused and further investigation was underway.
