Burewala: Abductors held; child, ransom recovered
BUREWALA: Police Wednesday recovered a child, 3, who was kidnapped for a ransom worth Rs10 million about ten days ago, arresting both the kidnappers along with the money here in Burewala. DPO, Vehari Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi in press conference at Sadder Police Station informed media that three-year-old Usman Khan, the son of Muhammad Imran Khan, resident of Shah Faiz Park Burewala, was allegedly kidnapped by two real brothers namely Ihtsham Shah and Jamshed Shah Residents of Chak NO. 82/12-L about ten days ago.
According to DPO, the kidnappers had demanded Rs10 million as ransom for the release of the child but the parents could arrange only Rs4.5 million, which they delivered to the snatchers as instructed by the policemen, who were working on the case using state-of-the-art methods of investigation.
The police traced the kidnappers and arrested both of them when they were fleeing with the ransom money, DPO, Vehari added.
DPO, Vehari Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi glorified the efforts of the officers who were investigating the matter and rewarded them with cash prizes on the spot.
