Lahore: Man shot dead for pursuing litigation
LAHORE: A 45–year–old man was shot dead allegedly by three people for pursuing a murder litigation in Kot Shahabuddin locality of Shahdara on Thursday. Shahdara police said that Muhammad Ashraf was riding a car when his rival Moazzam and his accomplices Afzal and Ashfaq on their bikes approached the victim and injured him with gunshot fires. He was taken to a hospital where he died. Police inquiries revealed that Ashraf was pursuing the case of his wife who had been murdered after children’s quarrel some time ago. The body was shifted to a hospital for an autopsy.
A case has been registered against the three accused.
