Man killed in Lower Dir
TIMERGARA: A man was killed allegedly by his former father-in-law here on Wednesday. SHO Munda police station Farman Khan told Dawn that the victim, Gul Zada, had poisoned his wife to death three months ago. He said that police arrested his father-in-law, Hakim Shah, on suspicion of involvement in the killing after the body of Gul Zada was recovered from a dry stream in Munda area. The SHO claimed that Hakim Shah had confessed to his crime and police had also recovered the weapon used in the crime.
Meanwhile, the Timergara police found a human head near Panjkora River at Deyaroon on Wednesday. The police had earlier found a headless body near Manzaray Tangay on Monday and had buried it as there was no claimant. The police have sent the head for DNA test.
