Quetta: FC rounds up 10 human traffickers
QUETTA: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan foiled a bid of human trafficking by arresting 10 human traffickers and recovering 108 Afghan nationals from Chagai district near Iran border, on Thursday. According to official sources, personnel of FC intercepted five pickups in Nokhundi area of Chagai district and rounded up 10 human smugglers along with 108 Afghan nationals. “The human traffickers wanted to smuggle Afghan nationals to Iran who wanted to reach European countries via Iran for better future,” sources said, adding FC personnel after a hot pursuit succeeded to intercept the smugglers near Iran border. The accused were being investigated by the law enforcement agencies.
