Islamabad: Police arrest 8 ‘outlaws’
ISLAMABAD: The capital police arrested eight outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered stolen vehicles, fake number plates, weapons and other valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said on Saturday. According to details, the Margalla police arrested an auto-thief and during investigation succeeded to recover two stolen cars (AFX–994, Karachi M–4902) from him. The police also arrested two persons, who under the influence of alcohol were firing multiple shots in the air, at F-9 Park. Shortly after getting the information, the police reached the spot and took them in custody and recovered two pistols from them.
Later they were shifted to a hospital, for medical examination. The Sabzi Mandi police arrested two thieves and recovered a stolen motorbike, registration books as well as fake number plates from them.
Meanwhile, a pick-pocket was arrested by Sabzi Mandi police, besides recovering two mobiles and Rs20,000 from him.
The Koral police arrested a man for his alleged involvement in fraud. The police also intercepted a man and while searching, recovered a 30–bore pistol from him.
Separate cases were registered against them and further investigations were in progress.
