Islamabad: Police impersonators loot woman
ISLAMABAD: 2 Robbers wearing Punjab police uniform robbed a woman of items worth Rs 1.2 million in the jurisdiction of Lohi Bhear Police Station. According to details, Shahzad Begum, resident of Pakistan Town residential colony, lodged a complaint with the police that at night she received a phone call that her son had an accident and he was in hospital. After listening to the call she immediately left for hospital and upon her return she found that her house had been burgled and items worth over Rs 1.2 million have been looted including jewellery and cash. The neighbours told the woman that they saw two men in Punjab police uniform entering her house through the wall and fled after looting the house. The police has registered a case and started investigations.
