Lahore: 7-year jail for running medical store without licence
LAHORE: The Drug Court chairman on Friday awarded seven–year jail term to a person, Riasat Ali, for running a medical store without licence. The court also imposed a fine of Rs. 1,00,000 on the convict. A team of the health department raided on a medical store located in Qasor–Purra and asked Riasat, owner of the store, to show the government license of selling drugs. However, Riasat failed to show the license. On this, the drug inspector sealed the said store and arrested Riasat.
