Karachi: Owner of consultant firm commits suicide
KARACHI: The owner of an consultant firm committed suicide in his office in the Tipu Sultan police limits on Monday. Ishrat, 52, hanged himself to death in his office near the Nursery bus stop in PECHS Block–6. When some clients visited his office, they found the door locked. His employee knocked at the door but there was no response. The then employee broke open the door and saw his body hanging from a ceiling fan. He immediately informed police, who shifted the body to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for a postmortem. According to the police, Ishrat used to arrange visas for America, England and Australia. When some visas did not reach on time, the clients started shouting in his office, which disheartened him and he ended his own life.
