RAWALPINDI: The Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench, hearing an ephedrine quota case on Monday extended the interim bails for Ali Musa Gilani and Makhdoom Shahabuddin till August 6. The media reports said that the court warned both of them of discharging their bail pleas if the two accused offer no cooperation with the ANF officials. The court extended the bail of Ali Musa Gilani and Makhdoom Shahabuddin as their counsels did not appear before the bench on Monday. Dr Rasheed Jumma and Rizwan Ahmed withdrew their bail pleas, as the two have become the approver against Gilani and Makhdoom Shahab. Meanwhile, the court reserved its verdict on the bail plea filed by former ANF deputy controller Abdus Sattar Sorani.
