Rawalpindi: Nigerian held for trying to smuggle heroin
RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a Nigerian man at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport here on Monday morning and recovered 100 heroin–filled capsules from his stomach, the ANF said. Okcke Chachoc, a national of Nigeria, was proceeding to Abu Dubai by EY–232 at 0420 hours on Monday, the ANF said. When he reached at the ANF counter, the ANF personnel, observing his suspicious activities, separated him and took him to their office.
The ANF said that during questioning, he confessed to carrying 100 capsules filled with heroin in his stomach. He was sent to the Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) and taken into custody after recovery of heroin–filled capsules from his stomach.
