Lahore: Monetary dispute claims life
LAHORE: A man was killed by some unidentified persons over a monetary dispute in Amna Park Hanjarwal on Friday. Police said Qari Iqbal had a monetary dispute with his partner Intizar Hussain and he exchanged hot words with him some days back. He was coming back to his house the other day after saying ‘Travi Prayer’ in a nearby mosque when he was ambushed by some unidentified persons who opened indiscriminate fire on him, leaving him injured critically. He was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to wounds. Police removed the body to the morgue. Qari Iqbal, a father of three and a resident of Amna Park Canal View Hanjarwal, was a property dealer.
