Peshawar: Bid to smuggle hashish foiled
PESHAWAR: The Capital City Police foiled bids to smuggle hashish and cattle-head to Afghanistan in separate actions on Friday, police sources said. The sources said the police recovered 120 kgs hashish from a vehicle in the limits of the Bhanamari Police Station on the Peshawar Ring Road. The drugs peddlers identified as Ibrahim and Irshad were arrested while the vehicle was seized by the police. In a separate incident, the police in Pishtakhara recovered eight buffaloes being smuggled to Afghanistan on the Ring Road and arrested smuggler Attaullah.
