Rawalpindi: Accused in cop’s kidnapping case acquitted
RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Terrorist Court Judge Chaudhry Habib-ur–Rehman on Saturday acquitted an accused allegedly involved in kidnapping of the inspector of Margalla Police Station, Islamabad. The court gave the accused Abdul Malick allegedly involved in kidnapping of the Inspector Rana Pervez of Margalla Police Station benefit of doubt and acquitted him. Inspector Rana Pervez was kidnapped and the police failed to recover him. Margalla Police Station had registered a case against Abdul Malick for his alleged involvement in kidnapping of the inspector in 2010.
