Quetta: FC seizes weapons near Iran border
QUETTA: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan personnel, on Tuesday, recovered huge cache of arms from the Pak–Iran border, while a checkpost of FC was attacked in Barkhan. According to FC officials, the FC personnel raided Landi I, Chaghai district, close to the Iranian border and recovered 3 SMG rifles, two pistols and over 995 rounds. However, no arrest was made during the raid. Meanwhile, unidentified armed men attacked a FC checkpost in Dolwai area of Barkhan. No loss of life was reported in the attack, according to sources. The attackers fled upon retaliation by the FC personnel.
