Gujranwala: Dacoits loot cash, jewellery in many hits
GUJRANWALA: Armed bandits and thieves looted people in seven hits here on Saturday. Four armed bandits forced their entry into the house of one Abdul Razzaq at village Tong Kalan and taking family hostage took away Rs 56,000 and gold ornaments at gunpoint and left after locking victim family in a room. Police are investigating. Two armed bandits waylaid motorcyclist one Asmatullah of Qila Didar Singh along village Ghumanwala and snatched his motorbike GAN7566 and Rs 62,000 at gunpoint. Ladhewala Warraich Police are investigating. Four armed bandits riding motorbike waylaid Wasim at Approach Road and snatched cash Rs 62,000 and cellphone from Wasim.
Three armed bandits waylaid a motorcyclist, Abdul Rauf, along village Khan Muslamnian and snatched his brand motorbike, cash and a cellphone. Two swindlers Sabir and Gulzar came to the office of property dealers Mahmood at Usman Colony and snatched Rs 150,000 at gunpoint and walked away. Rustlers took away costly buffalos from the Dera of Khalid Tanvir at Mohallah Emenabad. Thieves broke into the house of Muhammad Islam at Mohallah Karimpura and decamped with ornaments worth Rs 300,000 and Rs 32,000.
