Lahore: 4 held with 2.6kg heroin at airport
LAHORE: The Anti–Narcotics Force seized on Sunday 2.6kg heroin from four passengers, including two women, at the Lahore airport. Sources at the Allama Iqbal International Airport privy to the development told Dawn that ANF officials checked the baggage of passengers Nusrat, Zareena, Muhammad Ejaz and Ejaz Ali, who were leaving for Jeddah via a private company’s plane, and seized narcotics worth millions in the international market.
They said ANF officials checked the baggage at the very first counter during the entry to the international departure lounge. They said that suspects had been shifted to an unknown location by ANF officials who kept the information secret from the media.
