Gujranwala: Rs2.2m robbery at National Savings Centre Girl among 4 accused held
GUJRANWALA: The Model Town police claimed to have arrested four dacoits, including a girl, who had taken away Rs 2.2 million from National Savings Centre just after six hours of the incident. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the CPO said that the accused had entered the centre on Wednesday night, took the guard hostage, opened the lockers with a gas cutter and decamped with Rs 2,254,000. He said that the dacoits were identified as Muhammad Yousaf, a bank employee, his daughter Yasmin, Agha Jaffar Abbas, and Karamat Ali. The CPO disclosed that Yousaf was a cash van driver of the centre and had asked the guard to open the door for fetching water.
