Karachi: PPP worker among 4 killed
KARACHI: Four people including a PPP worker were killed in different incidents here on Thursday. Police found a shot dead body of young man near new Subzi Mandi within the remits of Sohrab Goth police station. Police sifted the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy. The body was later moved to morgue after autopsy for identification. Meanwhile, a man killed house owner over some personal dispute in the remits of Sohrab Goth police station. Police said that Anwar Multani, a resident of Ayub Goth, gave his house to Muzafar on rent. Muzafar and his nephew Kamran shot dead Anwar over some dispute while police arrested both the culprits and registered FIR against them.
A firing incident took place in Landhi Processing Zone where a machine man Irfan Aman was shot dead mistakenly. Police said that incident took place when factory guard Umar was repairing his gun when bullet was mistakenly fired and killed Irfan Police arrested Umar and registered the case.
Meanwhile, a PPP worker was gunned down at Orangi Town area within the remits of Pakistan Bazaar Police Station. The victim was identified as 26-year-old Nazish Habib. The victim was going to home from somewhere on motor bike when he reached near Jogi Mor, Orangi Town, two armed riders reached close to him and shot him dead. They managed to flee from the scene. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for autopsy and was later handed over to his heirs. Police said the victim was released from a jail couple of month ago on charge of two murders. Police added that victim was active worker of PS-95 of PPP.
