Teenaged boy killed, another hurt in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: The son of an assistant sub–inspector (ASI) of the Aabpara Police Station was allegedly gunned down by two sons of a late DSP of the Islamabad Police, along with their aides, on showing resistance when they trapped him and his friend for the purpose of molestation. The 16–year–old–boy, son of a serving assistant sub–inspector (ASI) of the Islamabad Police, was allegedly shot dead by his friends while the other sustained wounds, the police spokesman said on Thursday. Muhammad Kashif, son of ASI Muhammad Annar, serving at the Aabpara Police Station, was allegedly taken into House 43, Street 61, G-6/1-2, by his friends where they allegedly tried to abuse him sexually.
As Muhammad Kashif offered resistance, they allegedly shot him dead and managed to flee from the scene after dumping his dead body near a school in Sector G-6/4. Later, they allegedly tried to molest their other friend, 17–year–old Jamal Khan, son of Shah Hussain, at Banigala. They also allegedly shot at him and dumped him there after assuming him dead. Fortunately, Jamal Khan survived from the bullet injury and was shifted to the hospital after being spotted by the local people.
He recorded his statement at the Banigala Police Station and told the name of accused as Chaudhry Usman and Chaudhry Haider, sons of late DSP Chaudhry Taj, and Naeem Khan, Mehmood Khan and Saifullah. He also narrated the incident to police about Muhammad Kashif’s death. A case has been registered at the Banigala Police Station under Sections 324/148, 149. Police recovered the dead body of Muhammad Kashif.
