Karachi: Man charged with wife’s murder remanded in police custody
KARACHI: Judicial Magistrate (JM) Karachi West on Saturday remanded to police custody accused husband and brother who allegedly killed Rameem in Karachi. JM Pir Assadullah Shah Rashidi said in the order: “Accused produced in police custody with no complaint of maltreatment at hands of police. Investigation officer (IO) is present, prays police custody remand for further investigation, statement under section 164 Cr PC. Hence, accused are remanded to police custody till August 29. The IO is directed to complete investigation and submit the case diaries. Copy of remand is sent to the court of Hon’ble sessions.”
Plaintiff Shamdar father of Rameem lodged an FIR in the Mochko police station against his son Faisal Hanif and son-in-law Sharif Khan for killing his daughter.
