Karachi: 4 ‘gangsters’ remanded in CID custody
KARACHI: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) of the police was granted four more days on Monday to question four men facing charges of committing a number of crimes, including possession of explosive material. Judicial Magistrate (II West) Peer Syed Asadullah Shah Rashidi told a CID team to bring the accused again on September 5. The accused were allegedly involved in Lyari gang war crimes, and have been booked under sections 324, 34, 13-D, 4 and 5 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
When Syed Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Younus alias Aneel, Muhammad Amir alias Baba and Sabir Gul were brought before the judge, the police requested him to allow physical remand of the accused so that investigations could be completed. The judge granted the request.
