Lahore police seize 3,000 kites, arrest 2 accused
LAHORE: Lahore police have seized 3,000 kites worth many hundred thousand rupees and arrested two accused during raids in city. According to the City Division Police, many raids were held in various parts of the city on Tuesday, following special instructions for crackdown against kites’ sellers and fliers. During raids in different areas of Lahore, 3,000 kites worth many hundred thousand rupees and bobbins of chemical coated kite flying rope were seized and two accused were taken into custody by the police.
These held accused were violating ban over kite flying and a case under Anti–kite Flying Act has been registered against them, informed the police.
