Kasur: Misappropriation of Rs 147,000; School clerk found guilty
KASUR: An inquiry committee has found a clerk guilty of misappropriating Rs 147,000 from the funds of the School for Special Children. Principal Zareena Wahid had demanded an inquiry after suspecting embezzlement in the utility bills and funds for maintenance of vehicles of the school, which located at Abdul Khaliq Colony. An inquiry committee was constituted to probe the matter. During its report to the Special Education secretary, the committee held Maqsood Ahmed, a clerk, responsible for misappropriating the amount with the help of the former principal. The committee also recommended that the clerk should be forcibly retired after recovering the embezzled amount.
