Islamabad: 10 outlaws held; drugs, arms recovered
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Monday arrested 10 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 6.90-kg hashish,110 grams heroin, five pistols and 12–bore guns from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday. According to a press note issued from office of SSP office Islamabad, Station House Officer of Shehzad Town police station Fiaz Ahmed Ranjha, Sub–Inspectors Muhammad Abbass, Muhammad Siddique, ASI Muhammad Nawaz rounded up four drug pushers during routine patrolling and recovered a total of 3.670 kilogram hashish and two pistols from their possession. These nabbed persons were identified as Rashid Mehmud, Niaz Akhtar, Muhammad Tariq and Zahir Hussain.
Sub–Inspector Shamas Akbar from CIA police arrested another drug peddler identified as Ibrar and recovered 1.100 kilogram hashish from him while Sub–Inspector Usman Abassi from Aabpara police arrested Akram Masih and recovered 110 gram heroin from him. ASI Muhammad Sarfaraz from Secretariat police arrested Shahid Ameen for having 9 MM pistol while Sub–Inspector Abdul Razzaq from Shalimar police arrested Bilal for possessing 1.130 kilogram hashish and 30 bore pistol.
ASI Zafar Iqbal from Industrial area police arrested Jehanzeb in possession of 12 bore gun while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Anar from Nilore police recovered two pistols from Attique and Rameez. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
