6 Afghans among 50 arrested in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police on Friday arrested a total of 50 suspects including six Afghan nationals during search operations in their respective areas, a police spokesman said on Friday. A press note issued from office of SSP Islamabad stated that teams of Industrial area and Golra police stations headed by ASP Khalil Ahmed, ASP (Saddar) Rana Tahir respectively including SHO Golra Inspector Irshad Ahmed and SHO Industrial area Inspector Muhammad Shafique conducted special checking at sectors G-13, G-10/4, I-8/3, I-8/4., Faizabad.
Various houses, under-construction buildings, inns and slum areas were checked and police apprehended 50 suspects including six Afghan nationals. Investigation is underway from these nabbed suspects as they could not produce any authentic document for their identification.
