Lahore: UK national escapes from abductors
LAHORE: A UK national Pakistani girl managed to free herself from her abductors and reached home on Friday. Ayesha Ali was kidnapped by some unidentified persons from Liberty Market, Gulberg, on September 8. On Friday, the girl contacted her family from near from the Lahore General Hospital and informed them that she had managed to free herself from the clutches of her kidnappers. The girl told the police that some unidentified persons had used some substance after which she had fainted. Later, she, upon regaining the conscious, she found herself in a house where she was subjected to severe torture and raped.
However, police did not buy the girl’s story and believed that many missing links were yet to be established. Meanwhile, the girl’s family refused to get the medical test of the girl conducted and or to pursue action against the culprits involved in the case.
