Lakki Marwat: Police arrest 8 outlaws in separate actions
LAKKI MARWAT: Police arrested eight people including two militants and a female drug trafficker during search operation in several parts of the district on Saturday. A police official said that police force backed by personnel of Elite Force and Anti Terror Squad took part in search operation and arrested two militants belonging to Shah Hasankhel village. “The arrested militants identified as Salim Khan and Abdullah Jan were wanted by police in cases of terrorism especially those relating to attack on city police post, police lines and district police office”, told.
He said that another police party apprehended two proclaimed absconders identified as Khalid RazaBetanni and Khalil Betanni in Tajori area. and seized two AK 47 assault rifles and 50 bullets from them.
“A hand grenade, a rifle and a cache of rounds were recovered from the hideout of a dreaded outlaw in Landaka Ahmad Khan village in the vicinity of Tajori police station”, he maintained, saying that police also arrested a man Jan Muhammad, a resident of TajbikhelBetanni and seized a klashankovs and bullets from him.
Official said that police arrested a female narcotics seller in Abdulkhel village in the jurisdiction of ShaheedHaibat Ali Khan police station of DarraPezu town and recovered a small quantity of heroin (28 grams) from her possession.
In Sherekhel village, police arrested two people including Munawar Khan and Jan Wali and seized from them a klashankovs rifle, a shotgun and a good number of bullets”, he added.
Meanwhile, the district elementary and secondary education department upgraded 42 primary schoolteachers of Tajazai circle from BPS-7 to BPS–12 in the light of recently approved promotion and up gradation policy, claimed Haji Abdul Rahim, headmaster of circle school on Saturday.
