Rawalpindi: Gold looted
RAWALPINDI: Three unidentified robbers stormed into a jewellery shop and escaped with 400 grams of gold at DheriHassanabad in Civil Lines police area on Saturday. The Police, upon receiving the news, rushed to the scene and recorded the statements of the victims. According to the Civil Lines SHO Station Raja Shakeel, three intruders, equipped with guns, entered Al–RahmanJewellers located at Main DheriHassanabad Road at 2:30pm.
The robbers injured a security guard by hitting his head with the butt of their guns and later held the entire staff hostage on gunpoint. They escaped with only 400 grams of gold.
