Karachi: KBA ex-joint secretary escapes targeted attack, 3 killed
KARACHI: Three persons were gunned down in the recent violent incidents across the city while four others were wounded including Karachi Bar Association (KBA)’s former joint secretary’s brother-in-law Monday, Geo News reported. KBA president Mahmoodul Hassan told that former joint secretary FarhatHussainNaqvi’s car was fired upon, but he remained safe, however his brother-in-law NasirHussain was wounded. He said that the attack on the lawyers was part of the prolonged spate of target killing in the city. He demanded from the government to get the attackers arrested and provide security to the lawyers. He also announced to boycott the city courts to protest the incident.
Unknown gunmen killed a man near Baloch Colony bridge while three others were wounded in JaffarTayyar Society in Malir. The injured were rushed to the Jinnah hospital where one man succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was identified as SuhaibRaza while the injured include MohsinRaza and Hassan Raza.
The unidentified attackers also killed a man in North Karachi sector 5 area.
