Islamabad: 15 outlaws nabbed; contraband seized
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police on Wednesday arrested 15 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 1,708 liquor bottles, a stolen car as well as motorbike, hashish, and looted items from their possession. According to police spokesman, Kohsar Police Station arrested an accused, ChaudhryHussain, and recovered a 12–bore gun from him, while a man, Adeel Khan aliasKashif, was arrested for allegedly stealing mobiles and a laptop. The Secretariat Police Station apprehended one YousufMasih, and MorasMasih while in possession of eight wine bottles. Whereas, an alleged thief was arrested by the Shalimar Police Station. Tarnol police nabbed a man over a motorbike theft.
Ramana police apprehended a Nigerian national for having one liquor bottle and 17 cans of beer. ASI Muhammad Asif Ali from Anti-Car Lifting Cell apprehended one Waseem and recovered a stolen car from him. Nilore police arrested a man and recovered 10 mobile phones from him. Shehzad Town Police detained a man and recovered a 30-bore pistol from him. Cases have been registered against the nabbed men and investigation is underway from them.
