Islamabad: HanifAbbasi’s interim bail extended in ephedrine case
ISLAMABAD: The Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench on Wednesday extended the interim bail of Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) leader MNA HanifAbbasi in the ephedrine quota case until October 3. The division bench comprising Justice MehmoodMaqbool and Justice Ali BaqirNajfi heard the proceedings of the case and adjourned the hearing until October 3 due to the absence of HanifAbbasi’s counsel, SardarIshaq.
During the proceedings, Abbasi along with his friends was present in the courtroom. Talking to media, Abbasi said his opponents, who were busy doing propaganda against him, would be defeated. He said that he was working according to rules of business but was being falsely implicated in the ephedrine quota case.
