Lahore: Motorcyclists kill rickshaw driver
LAHORE: A 25-year-old rickshaw driver was thrashed and killed by two motorcyclists over a petty issue near the Campus Bridge on Canal Road on Thursday. Quoting witnesses, Muslim Town Station House Officer Hammad Akhtar said Nadeem of Pindi Stop KotLakhpat was initially thrashed by Sarfraz and Muhammad Fateh after the rickshaw hit their bike slightly. The suspects, who were taken into custody by the police, thrashed Nadeem, lifted him and banged him on the ground. Nadeem, a father of two, suffered a fatal head injury and was pronounced dead at hospital. The SHO said the suspects had been booked in a murder case.
