Nowshera: Women trafficker arrested
NOWSHERA: The police have arrested the main character of alleged women trafficking from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Punjab along with a young girl at AkoraKhattak. Police said a woman, Sakeena Khan, wife of Amjad Khan, resident of AkoraKhattak, wanted to Nowshera police in the kidnapping case of Tanzeena Khan, son of Rafique Khan, resident of Akbar Pura, on June 25, 2012 and sold in Punjab, had been arrested. Police said she was arrested in jurisdiction of Akora Khattak police station when she was going to Attock along with a young girl.
Akbar Pura police presented her on Monday in the court of Civil Judge Nowshera Mian Zahid Ullah Jan who handed her over to Peshawar police on a 15 day judicial remand.
Meanwhile, DCO Ghulam Mohammad Khan, addressing a function, assured the retired employees of payment of pension soon.
