Islamabad: Unknown gunmen attack senior journalist in capital
ISLAMABAD: A senior journalist of a private news agency was attacked in federal capital on Thursday at Shahra-e-Faisal, however he remained unhurt. According to details, Editor, News Network International (NNI) news agency was on his way to office on Thursday. Two bullets were fired on him by the unidentified persons from a while colour Corolla car, while he was crossing the Shahra-e-Faisal Road adjacent to Rescue–15.
However, the journalist remained unhurt luckily. The attackers fled the scene after the firing. Tariq Nadeem immediately reported the incident to Rescue-15. The police has cordoned off the area and started search of the attackers and the car used in the firing incident.
