Rawalpindi: Passenger with 2 kg of heroin arrested at airport
RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Friday arrested a passenger from the Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIA) after recovery of a huge quantity of heroin powder concealed in his bag, the ANF said. The passenger, identified as Mohammad Ramzan, son of Mohammad Bashir, hailing from Khushab district, having Passport No. BS-9211511, was proceeding Jeddah by a flight — SV-788 — at 1230 hours, when the ANF intercepted him and recovered two kilograms of heroin from his baggage.
Meanwhile, the Islamabad Police have arrested seven outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 7 kilograms of hashish, fake currency and weapons from their possession, the police spokesman said on Friday.
