Faisalabad: Row over a cricket match; 4 booked for pelting church with stones
FAISALABAD: The Millat Town police have registered a case against four people on the charge of pelting a church with stones over a cricket match row at Chak 120/JB on Monday. Wailence Masih told the police that boys had a quarrel over a cricket match in the village. He said that Mana Pathan rushed to his house and informed Nanna Pathan who with his accomplices reached there, called boys names and pelted a nearby church with stones. Christians protested against the incident.
However, the elders resolved the matter between both the parties. Later, Wailence reached the police station and got a case registered against Nanna Pathan, Manna Pathans and two others. The case has been registered under section 452, 295 and 49, 148 of the PPC.
