Islamabad: 3 arrested in blind murder case
ISLAMABAD: The Sihala Police have arrested three persons, including a woman, for their alleged involvement in a blind murder case and recovered the murder tool from them, the police spokesman said on Tuesday. A man, Azam Khan, spotted a dead body near a graveyard at Sawan on August 26 and informed the Sihala Police about it. Police shifted the dead body to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for postmortem. The deceased was later identified as Muhammad Haleem, a resident of Peshawar.
A case was registered with the Sihala Police Station under Section 302/34 of the PPC against the unidentified persons.
IGP Islamabad Bani-Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq directed SP (Rural) Sardar Sadaqat to ensure arrest of assassins at the earliest. The SP constituted a special team, including DSP (Rural) Habib Ullah Niazi, SHO Sihala Qaisar Gilani and others.
The team worked hard to trace the killers and succeeded in arresting three persons, including Wali Shah of Islamabad and Muhammad Ali and Nagina Bibi belonging to Peshawar.
