Lahore: 30-tola gold looted
LAHORE: Three robbers broke into a jewellery workshop in the Misri Shah area on Wednesday and looted gold jewellery weighing 30 tolas and two cell phones at gunpoint. Police said the robbers stormed into a house in ChahMiranMisri Shah where a jewellery workshop was established. They took the workers hostage at gunpoint, collected gold ornaments weighing 30 tolas and two cell phones and escaped. Meanwhile, some unidentified persons took away valuables from the shop of one Matee-ur-Rehman in the Township area. In another incident, some unidentified persons took away computers and cash worth hundreds of thousands of rupees from a computer shop on College Road, Township.
