Islamabad: Capital police net 17 outlaws
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police on Thursday arrested 17 accused from various areas of the city and recovered 2.215-kg hashish, 62 wine bottles, heroin, a telescope and other looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said. According to a press note issued from office of SSP Islamabad, Sub–Inspectors Mansoor Ahmed, Muhammad Ishaq and ASI Ameer Sajjad from BharaKau police arrested Danish, Haroon, KhuramShehzad and recovered 60 wine bottles and 215–gram hashish from them.
Sub–Inspectors Rab Nawaz, Yar Muhammad and ASI Abdul Ghafoor from Tarnol police arrested Aslam, Ramzan and Nur Bibi besides recovering a total of 1.110-kg hashish, one telescope gun and 30 bore pistol from their possession.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shafique from Sabzi Mandi police arrested Sohaib Ali in possession of 30 bore pistol while Sub–Inspector Muhammad Abbass from Shehzad Town police arrested a drug pusher Abdul Waheed for carrying 1.020 kilogram hashish and 70 grams heroin.
ASI Aurangzeb from Sihala police arrested one Javed for possessing a 30 bore pistol while Sub–Inspector Muhammad Ishaq from Loi Bher police arrested three thieves identified as Amjad, Saad and Wali Muhammad besides recovering stolen valuables from them.
The police spokesperson said that cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
