Karachi police arrest 7 criminals from 2 areas
KARACHI: Police arrested four criminals involved in several cases of street crimes and robberies from Khwaja Ajmer Nagri area of the city on Friday. The criminals were identified as Arif, Arshad, Aziz and Farhan. Police also recovered weapons and cash from their custody. Earlier today, three members of a gang allegedly involved in looting citizens outside auto–mated teller machines (ATMs) were also nabbed in the city.
According to SSP Farooq Awan, police, acting on information, raided different parts of the city and apprehended the suspects, Lal Marjan, Humayum and Muhammad Sahag.
The police said that the suspects were involved in dozens of cases involving robbing citizens of cash outside ATMs in Defence, Clifton and other posh localities. Police say that suspects were being interrogated.
