Lahore: Charges framed against ex-cricketer Ijaz
LAHORE: A judicial magistrate, Imtiaz Ahmed, on Monday framed charges against batsman and former member of the Pakistan Cricket Board`s national selection committee, Ijaz Ahmed, an accused nominated in cheque bounce case. The court has summoned prosecution witnesses by November 10. Previously, the court had handed over copies of the case record to the both parties. Gulberg Police had registered a criminal case against the cricketer on the complaint of two property dealers, including Shaukat Ali, for issuing cheques worth Rs. 11 million which later bounced from the bank. After registration of the complaint, police had arrested cricketer but he had managed to secure bail from the court.
