Karachi: KPK additional home secretary abducted
KARACHI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Additional Home Secretary Mohammad Ramzan was abducted in Karachi where he was staying for official training. The Gulshan-e-Iqbal police have registered a case and started investigation into the matter. Ramzan was in Karachi on a four-month training course for his promotion. He was kidnapped shortly after leaving the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) in Gulshan-e-Iqbal to visit his sister’s house.
Police officials have said that the kidnappers contacted the family of Ramzan and demanded Rs 20 million ransom for his release, adding that negotiations are underway between the family and kidnappers.
