At least 207 Karachiites killed in October
KARACHI: At least 207 people were deprived of their lives during the month of October with over 400 cars snatched or stolen, SAMAA reports Thursday. The October’s violence claimed the lives of at least 24 political activists and 13 police personnel as well as six sectarian killings were witnessed in the months. Those killed this month include ten operatives of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), four of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), nine of Awami National Party (ANP) and a worker of MQM–Haqiqi. Another 12 people sustained injuries in cracker attacks with incidents of street crimes, bank robberies and kidnapping for ransom knew no bounds. Over 1900 motorcycles were snatched or stolen during October.
