Peshawar: Imposter remanded
PESHAWAR: Also in the day, judicial magistrate Zafarullah Mohmand remanded a man, who was held for posing himself as a colonel of Inter–Services Intelligence (ISI), in police custody for two days. Officials of the east cantonment area police station produced imposter Amir Murad before the court. Murad was arrested at the provincial environment department offices, where he posed himself to be an official of ISI to secure lease of a piece of land. Police said the man had worked in different government and private institutions on forged documents and degrees and that he was inducted in Pakistan Air Force as flight lieutenant but was removed from service in 1992 after court–martial.
