Nankana Sahib: 3 women of a family killed by PO, accomplices for land
NANKANA SAHIB: Three women of a family were killed and as many others injured over a land dispute by a proclaimed offender and his 10 accomplices at Thatha Perbera village on Saturday night. A proclaimed offender, Irshad alias Shadu, had a land dispute with Abdul Ghafoor Kharral. PO Irshad alias Shadu and his 10 accomplices forced their entry into the house of Abdul Ghafoor and allegedly opened indiscriminate firing. As a result, Abdul Ghafoor’s wife Daulat Bibi, daughter Sajida and daughter-in-law Nosheen were killed on the spot while Nosheen’s three–year–old son Shanzal Naveed, Abdul Ghafoor’s 15-year-old daughter Razia and Nosheen’s father Ghulam Rasool were seriously injured.
The injured family members were shifted to the DHQ Hospital from where they were referred to the Jinnah Hospital in Lahore due to their critical condition. Bara Ghar police have registered a case against Irshad, Attaullah, Nawaz, Allah Ditta, Ashraf, Hayat and five unidentified people on the report of Abdul Ghafoor. It is learnt that police have arrested accused Attaullah and 15 others on suspicion and are interrogating them.
