Gujranwala: 4 bikes, cash, valuables taken away
GUJRANWALA: Dacoits made off with cash, four bikes, jewellery and other valuables in 13 strikes here on Monday. Two bandits waylaid Sajjad of Kashmir Road and took away 18 tolas of gold ornaments near Allama Iqbal Town. Cantonment police have registered a case and start investigation. Three dacoits entered the medical store of Abid Mehmood and snatched cash from Jamil and Imran at the store near Sheikhupura Morr. Three dacoits waylaid Abdul Sattar of Bilal Town and looted cash. Amjad Ali, his mother-in-law and wife were on their way on a bike when two bandits waylaid them and looted five tolas of gold ornaments and cash.
Ten dacoits broke into the Dera of Hayat and made him hostage in a room and took away four buffaloes. Six dacoits broke into the house of Saleem Akhter and made family hostage and looted cash and gold ornaments. Three bandits including a woman riding a car waylaid Tanveer Hussain and his wife Shahnaz and looted three tolas of jewellery and cash. Two bandits waylaid Sajjad Ali of Hafizabad and looted 12,000 and a mobile phone near Thakrk Pulli. Three bandits broke into a go down of Yasir Bilal and looted Rs 7,500 and a mobile phone. Thieves took away bike GAP4361 of Umer Farooq. Asif parked his bike GAV1297 at a hospital’s parking area when he returned he found his bike missing. Thieves took away bike GAK9315 of Naeem from Jinnah Road. Thieves took away bike GAN633 of Usman Tariq which he parked at a university parking area.
