Lahore: Women gang arrested
LAHORE: The Sadar Division Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) on Monday claimed to have arrested a nine-member women gang and recovered Rs2.3 million from their possession. A spokesman for the CIA said that the gang used the ladies to get jobs against fake names in posh areas and used to flee while committing theft or dacoity. The spokesman claimed that the raiding team gathered information about the culprits and arrested them who have also confessed to have robbed the house of Cricketer Kamran Akmal in Defense-A.
Those arrested included Zarafat wife of Waheed ahmad of Faisalabad, Abida alias Kaalo, Ghazala alias Goshi, Allah Rakhi, Sardaran Bibi, Naseem Bibi, Tasleem Bibi, Naseem Bibi, Shahida wife of Amjad Ali and Safdar Ali. All women were arrested from Faisalabad.
