Karachi: 3 young men found shot dead
KARACHI: Bodies of three unidentified young men were found under the Karimabad flyover in the early hours of Tuesday. Police said the bodies had been found at around 3am. They said the trussed-up bodies had been stuffed in gunny bags. They bore torture marks and the victims had been shot. It seemed that the victim’s had been kidnapped and later subjected to torture before being shot dead. Police shifted the bodies to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities and later they were taken to the Edhi morgue for identification.
The trend of dumping bodies at roadsides is rampant in the old city area, especially at the Lyari Naddi. A few days ago, two men were killed in an execution style in separate incidents in Nazimabad.
Two men were killed and third one was wounded when unidentified suspects opened fire at them at the Mauripur Road.
Police said the incident had taken place near the main Mauripur Road in the remits of Kalri police station where three men were returning after buying liquor from a wine shop.
Some suspects intercepted them and after an altercation, opened fire at the three men and fled.
The wounded men were taken to the Civil Hospital where two men Faziullah Khan, 32, and Mohammad Imran, 30, were pronounced dead. Their associate Farman Khan was admitted for treatment.
Police said the three men were residents of Shershah area and they frequented the shop.
Man shot dead
A tailor was killed by an unknown person in Bahadurabad on Tuesday evening. Police said the incident took place at a shop in Rabi Arcade where a man walked into the tailor shop of Mohammad Saeed, 40, son of Mumtaz Ali, and shot him before escape.
A duty officer of the New Town police station said the victim, who had suffered five bullet injuries, was rushed to the JPMC where he died during treatment. Police were not sure about the motive behind the killing.
